The European Commission released Explanatory Notes on the VAT “Quick Fixes”

The document aims at providing a better understanding of the new rules in the following areas:

• call-off stock arrangements,
• chain transactions,
• the exemption for intra-Community supplies of goods and
• the proof of transport for the purposes of that exemption.

The Explanatory notes were first made available in the English language. The Commission endeavours to make the Explanatory Notes available in all official languages of the EU member states before the end of March 2020.
